Who operates this site
NavoFin (navofin.ca) is operated by Caleb Larocque as an Ontario sole proprietor. The NavoFin business name is registered in Ontario. Caleb is the person accountable for privacy at NavoFin and can be reached at help@navofin.ca. This policy follows the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Server and hosting logs. The site is hosted on Lovable's infrastructure. Operational log data may include IP addresses, browser/user-agent information, timestamps and session identifiers. Lovable's published policy states operational logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
- Email correspondence. If you email NavoFin, we receive your email address, message content and any information you voluntarily include. We use it to respond to your inquiry and maintain appropriate business records.
- Analytics. NavoFin does not currently run a third-party analytics or advertising tag. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
- No accounts. NavoFin does not currently require signup or collect payment information.
Processing outside Canada
Our hosting and other service providers may operate globally. Request data may therefore be processed or stored on servers outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
Retention
- Hosting/operational logs: retained by our hosting provider according to its published retention practices, which may be up to 90 days.
- Emails you send us: kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations.
Cookies and affiliate tracking
NavoFin does not currently set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are enabled.
When you click an affiliate or partner link, the third-party partner may place a cookie or use another tracking method to attribute the application back to NavoFin. Those cookies are controlled by the partner, not by NavoFin, and are governed by the partner's own privacy policy.
Third parties
- Lovable hosting — serves the site and keeps operational logs as described above.
- Affiliate networks and issuer programs — may collect click and conversion data when you follow a partner link. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access to it, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Email help@navofin.ca and we will respond in accordance with applicable privacy law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
NavoFin is intended for adults comparing financial products and is not directed at children under 13.

This policy will be updated as NavoFin adds features. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
